Will Smith Slaps Chris Rock

During the Oscar's Academy Award of March 27, 2022 an unexpected event occurred live on stage. Chris Rock who was on stage to present the next section, starting Joking with Will Smith and his wife. He thought it was funny to make a joke about Jada Smith hair loss. Jada Smith suffers from alopecia, an autoimmune disease that affects women and men. This condition can lead to temporary or permanent hair loss. Jada Smith has been open about her condition and even speak out of how it had affect her emotionally. On an episode of "Red Table Talk" she said:

 "It was terrifying when it when it first started," "I was in the shower one day, and then just handfuls of hair — just in my hands — and I was like, 'Oh my God, am I going bald?' It was one of those times in my life where I was literally shaking with fear. That's a really scary experience." 

Will Smith tried to keep his cool but couldn't resist when Chris Rock went on with the jokes. You could see how upset and uncomfortable Jada was feeling at that joke. That's when Will Smith decided to stand up and walk up to the stage. Will Smith walk up to Chris Rock and slap him right on the face. At this Chris Rock was surprised and try to joke about it. But when Will Smith sat down he was furious and told Chris to keep his wife name out of his mouth. Chris said it was a joke but Will repeated furious to keep his wife name out of his mouth. During the comercial break, Will Smith stand up and was seen talking to Denzel Washington. Denzel was calming him down and also went to Jada to show his support. A few minutes later Will Smith was awarded an Oscar for Best Actor for his performance in "King Richard". When Will Smith took the stage he apologized to the academy and his fellow nominees. 

Will Smith said: "I know to do what we do, you gotta be able to take abuse and have people talk people about you. In this business, you gotta have people disrespecting you. And you gotta smile and pretend that's ok." 

Will Smith also shared what Denzel Washington told him: “At your highest moment be careful, that’s when the devil comes for you.”

Will Smith was obviously affected by these events and said he will do anything to defend his loved ones.

Now this lead to a massive debate whether Will Smith did the right thing or not. While is true that Violence isn't the answer for everything you can't deny how you would act in that situation. Some people say that he should have waited after the broadcast or wait until they were backstage. But could he really just take all that in and acted as if nothing happened? While Violence might be wrong in certain situations you can't deny Will Smith reaction was natural. Some people demand he should lose his award or be banned from places, but why? He was defending his wife who was clearly uncomfortable. Besides his award was for his project not for his attendance to the Oscar's. Most people just go with the flow and said Violence is not the answer no matter the circumstances. But do they truly believe that or is it because that looks good publicly? Some people are afraid of saying their real opinion because they are afraid some will think they are supporting Violence. But Will Smith was protecting his wife. I see it as this. Empathy. Put yourself in that same or similar situation and ask yourself, how would I react? What if they were making fun of Your wife, girlfriend, mother, sister, daughter or even as a woman if they are making fun your children, mother, sister, or even a family member with a disability or a special condition, would you really hold yourself and try to talk about it? Just as people criticize Will Smith, they should criticize Chris Rock. Some Jokes are out of place and must always be careful not to cross the line. Don't try to hide behind humor to try to get a moment to shine or to provoke a reaction. And yes there are jokes about everything and people shouldn't be offended easily but there is a place for everything. Maybe Chris Rock joke could have been ok if it was done on one of his shows. A comedy show expected to have all kinds of jokes but not on a gala event where the purpose is to award a production. Or even a Roast show where the purpose is to "attack" others with jokes. But this wasn't the place or moment.

J Balvin vs Residente

J Balvin y Residente se enfrentan? Lo que faltaba, que el genero urbano se tirara entre sí. La verdad puedo hablar de un punto neutral. Me gusta cierto Reggaeton y algo de rap. Pero super fanáticos como otros no soy. Perdón pero ni el rap ni el Reggaeton se pueden tirar entre sí, y menos diciendo que esa persona no canta y no tiene talento por su letra, voz o música. Porque entonces están admitiendo a los otros Géneros que los critican que en efecto su música no tiene talento y solo son populares y no talentosos. Porque tipo/estilo de música de J Balvin es usado por muchos de Reggaeton. Ya sea porque es letra de otros compositores o por la musica, beats, o la voz, igual es utilizada por otros cantantes de Reggaeton, a veces mas intenso y otras mas ligero. Al igual que Residente, si atacas su trabajo también atacas a otros raperos. A mi en lo personal no me gusta Residente. Igual y debe haber unas canciones que me gusten pero lo que escuchado hasta ahora pues para nada. Mientras que de JBalvin si hay varias canciones que me gustan. Pero hay muchos raperos en duelos de rap, Latinos y de España que son muy buenos y si me gustan. Al igual que hay Reggaeton que simplemente no me gusta como BadBunny. Lo de que no se valora el género Urbano en Premiaciones parece una burla. El Reggaeton siempre gana en casi todo y siendo honestos hay veces que no lo merecen. Al igual que a veces otros géneros ganan y no lo merecen. Muchas veces ganan Los Populares. Lo que venda mas en ese momento. Sobre lo de el programa LaVoz no se debe tomar en serio. Es pura Polémica barata para dar Rating al Programa. Lo hacen en USA y Mexico. "Peleas serias" entre 2 coaches son para ganar más rating. Los ponen como la gran noticia y haber ni si quiera se pelearon de verdad. Otras veces les dicen que decir para iniciar la pelea. Luego quizás los artistas se enganchan de verdad y eso benefia más al programa. Si la intención era o no crear polémica para vender más pues de todos modos si les ayudará en ambas de sus ventas.

Sergio Aguero: Vacunas o COVID19?

  Sergio Agüero dijo que sigue investigando sobre su retiro obligado tratando de entender sobre su repentino problema de salud. Quiere saber sobre la posibilidad que sus problemas cardíacos fueron ocasionados por el COVID-19 o las Vacunas.

Pues en efecto es posible. Cada cuerpo es distinto y todos tenemos distintas reacciones. Primero que nada deben recordar que las vacunas No Son Cura. Son proteccion adicional para prevenir el contagio de COVID19. Pero aun con la vacuna te puedes seguir contagiando. Pero la vacuna ayuda que aunque te infectes de COVID19 el efecto del virus no sea tan severo y reduce los riesgos de necesitar ser hospitalizado. Eso no quita que sigan siendo Vacunas de emergencia hechas para tratar de evitar el rápido contagio del COVID19 alrededor del mundo.

Aun así las vacunas vienen con riesgo. Como cualquier otro medicamento o vacuna oficial que conozcamos. Primero que nada reitero, las vacunas fueron hechas para evitar el rápido contagio del COVID19 que nos llegó por sorpresa. De hecho quizás no hubieran sido necesarias las vacuna si la gente hubiera hecho caso desde un principio cuando se pidió usar mascarilla, mantener su distancia y salir para solo lo esencial. Pero claro que después de un tiempo hubo gente que no lo soporto y empezó a salir a playas, conciertos, convivencias masivas y claro viajar alrededor del mundo sin cuidarse. Quizás medicos alrededor del mundo previnieron estas acciones por parte de las personas y por eso iniciaron a trabajar en vacunas lo mas pronto posible. Ahora se pide las vacunas para tratar de limitar el contagio mientras las personas siguen haciendo sus actividades normales. Pero aun así el contagio sigue porque muchos no creen o no quieren creer en el COVID19.

Pero si. Como lo dije antes, aun así las vacunas al ser de emergencias pueden venir con riesgo para algunas personas. Para estar mas seguro y mas tranquilo lo ideal seria ir con su doctor y discutir cual es la mejor opción de vacuna para ti dependiendo de tu historial médico En especial personal consideradas de alto riesgo.
